Ajax Creative Arts group is home to a over 100 artists who gather regularly to paint together, support and encourage each other and collaborate to hold shows and sales of their works to the public. Located in the Ajax Creative Arts Centre - 22 Sherwood Road W. at Linton in Pickering Village, Ajax Ontario. Spring and Fall Shows display works of member artists. Art buyers eagerly choose from a wide selection of paintings in various media.

The Art Shows are always accompanied by a lovely Tea Room filled with sweet treats. Proceeds are donated to a different local charity each year.
Joan Bontje
Joan is a member of Ajax Creative Arts is shown here during a show and demonstration held at Chapters in Ajax.
Joan receives much of her inspiration, from the tranquility of nature. She enjoys teaching art in workshops she holds in her home studio.
They say, 'art feeds the soul', and being among Joan's paintings and the beauty of her home and garden makes you feel relaxed, inspired, and you came away with a sense of peacefulness. The theme, for one of Joan's showings was, 'No Strings Attached' an expression of the freedom Joan's art portrays.

Artist, Beverley Russell enjoys painting with other artists at the Ajax Creative Arts Centre. Beverly is also a Master Massage Therapist using Reiki, Sweedish massage, Reflexology, Cranio Sacral, healingTouch, Trigger Point Tharapy and Lymphatic Drainage.
