O'Marra Squared
Father - Daughter Artists Present a Unique Perspective
Allan O'Marra is a realist painter who tries to impart a metaphoric and spiritual feeling to his works. Based in the psychological his portraits and landscape paintings evoke more than a literal image of reality.
Finding that his daughter Emily O'Marra also expresses herself through art, he has mentored her in her painting career and now they are embarking on their first show together called, O'Marra Squared.
Between them they have created a collection of 30x30 inch stunning paintings balanced in the realism of Allan's works which are mirrored in the abstract impressions by Emily of her father's paintings. A unique perspective and play on their father/daughter - mentor/student relationship.
The show will take place from October 4th to 17th in the Art Gallery at
Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences,
700 Gordon Street,
Whitby, Ontario Canada
