In the news -Blog Style 100-Day Bike Ride 2009 in Support of Renewed Strength "Get Moving, Get Stronger" On June 10, 2008 Dee Miller, Executive Director of Renewed Strength biked around Ontario (7,645 kms) for 100 consecutive days to raise awareness and raise needed funds to provide every cancer patient in Ontario free exercise programs. Dee challenges residents and cancer survivors like herself -from June 16, 2009 and running for 100 Days finishing on September 23, 2009, ride your bike for as many days as possible. Every time you ride your bike during the 100 days whether it is outside or in a 'spinning' class, record the length of time. The most total minutes biked over the 100 days wins! Registration is open during the 100 day ride, so you can still participate! All participants will receive a Certification of Completion. Check out your minutes compared to other participants at www.renewedstrength.ca Collect pledges for great incentives! Prizes will be offered in many categories including: most minutes biked, most money raised, and most pledges collected.
